Studio Lifestyle Portrait Session in Ottawa

When I was younger, every friend-hangout turned into a photoshoot opportunity, and planning to just “be” somehow turned into fun, expressive, hilarious, and cool work that sparked my interest in photography at an early age.

I’ve been missing this kind of photoshoot, so I reached out to my friend Lauren to see if she’d join me in the studio for a shoot where we’d create something just for the fun of it, for the sake of creating.

Capturing Lauren for Lauren and getting creative to be creative was such a great experience, and a reminder that there doesn’t always need to be a huge shot list when capturing portraits. Sometimes going in with some ideas and inspiration, and leaving space for creativity, offers an amazing outcome.
